Do you know the benefits of strength trainning?

According to Dr. William Sears, there are many! In his book "Prime Time Health" which I highly recommend to anybody age 25 and older, he mentions 6 BENEFITS!

  1. Build more muscle, store less fat.

  2. Build more muscle and have stronger bones. And break fewer of them! Also have more flexible joints.

  3. Build more muscle and beat diabetes

  4. Build more muscle and lower the highs (high blood sugar, high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure).

  5. Build more muscle and fall less (you will have better balance).

  6. Build more muscle and build a smarter brain.

For an appetizer, let me suggest that you plan on 15 to 30 minutes, 3 times a week of stregth trainning.
